At S+S Studio, our design vision for the NovikovxItaly&Co restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton, Limassol, centers on creating a harmonious fusion of nature and fine dining. Our goal was to establish an inviting atmosphere that embodies Mediterranean elegance and the essence of resort living, allowing guests to savor exquisite dishes while enjoying the aesthetic beauty of coastal surroundings.

The terrace stands as a pivotal feature of our design, lushly adorned with greenery that crafts a captivating play of light and shadow. This area fosters a sense of comfort and relaxation. The architectural canopy, characterized by its organic, amoebic forms, seamlessly integrates with the landscape, providing a smooth transition between the natural environment and built elements. This design aspect serves both functional and aesthetic purposes, becoming a visual focal point that captivates guests.

Continuing this theme, the two-sided bar connects the restaurant and terrace, enabling patrons to enjoy drinks in multiple settings while maintaining spatial unity. The geometric flooring, composed of diverse stones with rich color accents, infuses the space with dynamism, highlighting its modern appeal.

Natural materials and tactile surfaces permeate the interior, fostering a harmonious and comfortable ambiance. Wooden panels, stone features, and live plants blur the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, allowing guests to immerse themselves in a tranquil environment where culinary excellence meets natural beauty.

Key design elements include a stone wine station with dramatic backlighting, serving both practical and artistic purposes, and an open kitchen that invites guests to engage with the culinary process. The raw bar, showcasing fresh seafood, is enhanced by a mirror that creates depth, drawing attention to the vibrant offerings and emphasizing the open kitchen’s role. Food displays entice guests, while the tasting counter in the wine cellar invites connoisseurs to explore a rich world of flavors and aromas.
