LA PIAZZA

Opening date: January 2024

La Piazza Italian restaurant in Yerevan, Armenia, curated by Sundukovy Sisters, presents a captivating design concept that seamlessly merges Italian tradition with contemporary elegance. The essence of this concept lies in its ability to transport diners into a realm where two cultures converge harmoniously.

Captivating Arrival

As guests enter La Piazza, their attention is immediately drawn to a suspended chandelier, a subtle yet powerful symbol of transformation. The metallic-finished walls create a mirrored effect, inviting patrons into a world where Italian and Armenian cultures intersect.

Theatrical Ambiance

Soft curtains part, revealing the second act of this culinary opera. Here, natural materials take center stage, including light wood flooring, marble accents, and olive-colored textiles. This juxtaposition of materials evokes a sense of drama and sophistication, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.

Modern Classicism

Within the space, modern interpretations of early classicism abound. Meticulous details such as white tablecloths, camphor veneer tables, and pilasters framing columns add a touch of timeless elegance to the contemporary setting. The careful balance of tradition and innovation creates an atmosphere that is both familiar and refreshingly new.

Subtle Illumination

Lighting plays a crucial role in highlighting the restaurant’s focal points. Glass chandeliers above the open kitchen and a panoramic wooden table draw the eye, while subtle accents guide patrons through the space. A unique “dandelion” chandelier floats above the wooden bar, casting a soft glow that enhances the overall ambiance.
